Instructions to submit a REQUEST FOR EXCEPTION TO ACADEMIC REGULATION petition:
NOTE: The petition form can only be obtained through the Advising Assistance Center.
1. Meet with a professional advisor in the Advising Assistance Center to discuss the petition process. They will be able to give you appropriate options regarding your situation. The Advising Assistance Center will outline what you need for your petition to be considered complete. They will also help you in completing the petition form.
2. Fill out the Letter of Explanation (found below).
3. Obtain all required signatures and documentation as outlined by the Advising Assistance Center.
4. Return completed form to the Advising Assistance Center.
