SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University will be invaded by ghosts, goblins, and all sorts of scary creatures on Wednesday, October 28, from 7-9 p.m. when the university hosts the 15th annual Shep-or-Treat. Shepherd employees and community members are encouraged to bring their children (age 14 and under)  to the event, which will include trick-or-treating, games, food decorating, kid-friendly crafts, Halloween photo opportunities, and a haunted house.

LOCATION CHANGES DUE TO RAIN:
The activities scheduled for the residence halls will be moved to the Student Center on the first and third floors. The residence trick-or-treating will happen in the Student Center instead of the WestWoods suites.

Activities will still be occurring at Scarborough Library and the Wellness Center as planned. The dining hall is still open for dinner. The haunted hotel in Turner Hall will still be set up, but will only run if the weather is conducive.

Before Shep-or-Treat festivities begin, Shepherd’s Dining Hall is hosting a spooktacular kid-friendly all-you-can-eat dinner from 4:30-8 p.m.  The cost is $8.50 for adults, $4.25 for children ages 6-12, and free for those under 6.

Shep-or-Treat is free and open to the public. Donations of candy are being accepted from anyone wishing to support the event. For more information, call Residence Life at 304-876-5172.
