SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University and St. Maria Goretti High School (SMGHS) in Hagerstown, Maryland, signed a dual enrollment memorandum of understanding on October 31 that will allow juniors and seniors from SMGHS to take classes at Shepherd for both high school and college credit. Beginning in spring 2019, the high school students can take up to three college-level courses per semester if they meet the requirements laid out in the agreement. SMGHS students who participate in the program will have guaranteed admission to Shepherd after they graduate from high school.
