SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The Shepherd University Agricultural Innovation Center at Tabler Farm is hosting Community Days this fall where visitors can learn about different ways to use plants and take something home.
CANCELED: On Saturday, September 23, from 10 a.m.-noon, the farm will offer Flower Bouquet Making with Madison Hale, farm coordinator. Hale will teach participants how to create ascetically pleasing and long-lasting flower bouquets. After the lesson there will be a group reflection conversation under the apple trees in honor of the autumn equinox.
Another Community Days event, Homemade Garden Hot Sauce, is planned for Saturday, October 21, from 10 a.m.-noon. Hale will give a lesson on how to make hot sauce and explore fun flavor combinations. The event will end with a guided mindfulness stroll through a wooded section of the farm.
