SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University and Hagerstown Community College (HCC) have signed a 2+2 transfer agreement that will give students who earn an Associate of Arts in general studies a seamless transition to Shepherd’s Regents Bachelor of Arts (R.B.A.) degree program.

The agreement between Shepherd’s R.B.A. program and HCC’s A.A. in general studies will allow students to continue their education at Shepherd in the fields of agribusiness, business, global studies, health, human services, social issues, or sustainable food production. This is the 13th 2+2 transfer agreement Shepherd has signed with HCC.

The R.B.A. program offers students who have been out of high school four years or longer the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree on a flexible schedule that gives credit for work and life experience.
