SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University welcomed the company for the 34th Contemporary American Theater Festival (CATF) earlier this month and is excited to host the season’s plays in July.

In addition to these five mainstage experiences, CATF is co-producing an immersive, multi-disciplinary experience with the Appalachian Chamber Music Festival called “A Mother’s Voice” and hosting more than 30 special events led by industry experts and artists, including lectures, post-show conversations, and discussions.

CATF will run July 5-28 at four venues, including locations on Shepherd’s campus and in downtown Shepherdstown.

In recognition of all the ways Shepherd University employees help the festival each summer, CATF is hosting a Shepherd Appreciation Day on Wednesday, July 10.

University employees may experience a free matinee performance of Enough to Let the Light In at the Marinoff Theater at 3 p.m., with a special meet-and-greet beginning at 2:15 p.m.
