The First Year Experience Peer Educator serves as a student role model and resource for first year students. He or she will work closely with an Interest Group (FYEX-102) or First-Year Seminar (FYEX-101) instructor in order to assist new students with the often overwhelming transition to university life.  Peer educators lead group discussions and help familiarize new students with campus resources and activities.  Through this process, peer educators gain valuable experience with teaching, team-work and leadership; they also earn 1 elective credit hour.
