Past trips
Summer 2019
Once again, in May 2019, psychology faculty and students went on a 6-day academic study tour to London, England and Paris, France. We visited the homes of Sigmund Freud and Charles Darwin, the Louvre, medical history museums, and much more! You can still see our full itinerary at the tour website: http://efcst.com/2087069NM
In addition to the 14 Shepherd students enrolled in Dr. Lovelace’s spring 2019 section of PSYC 420 History & Systems of Psychology, we were joined by several additional students, two Shepherd faculty, one Shepherd staff member, and two members of the community. There were 23 people in all, and we had a fabulous group and a wonderful, memorable time!
Here we are in front of Down House, the home of Charles Darwin in the village of Downe, Kent.
Summer 2016
In May, 2016 the psychology faculty led an 8-day academic study tour to London and Paris. Here’s the group in front of Charles Darwin’s home in the village of Down:
Below, we’re pictured with our guide for the London Jack the Ripper tour. (And there’s me in Paris with the obligatory Mona Lisa selfie.)
