Bedroom

• 1 port per pillow

Common Areas

• 1 ports per common area in a stick/suite res hall
• 2-4 ports per common area in a stone/traditional res hall

Res Life Office/Management

• 2 ports

Telephone (optional)

• 1 flexible drop (voice or data) in common area for suite/traditional rooms

Networking

• Fiber required to connect buildings
• Usage of commscope systimax or siemon MAX6 copper cabling
• Fewer data closets the better – reduce equipment need, backup power needs
• Two data drops per networking device
  • 1 for use
  • 1 for maintenance
• Cellular Repeaters (optional)
  • Dependent upon construction
