MARTINSBURG, WV — Shepherd University’s Martinsburg Center, 261 Aikens Center, is hosting an open house on Thursday, September 12, at 5 p.m. for high school-age home-schooled students, high school students, and their parents who are interested in more information about taking college classes while still in high school. No RSVP necessary, but seating is limited.
Shepherd admissions and academic community outreach representatives will explain the dual enrollment program where students can earn college and high school credit simultaneously and take college classes for a greatly reduced rate. Shepherd faculty will teach the courses at the Martinsburg Center or at the main campus in Shepherdstown. College credits will count toward a degree at Shepherd or will transfer to any accredited university.
