SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University recently cut the ribbon on its new food bank, the Ram Pantry, located in Boteler Hall on West Campus. The pantry is open Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. and Fridays from 5-7 p.m. and will have food available to on-campus, commuter, non-degree seeking, and dual enrollment students with the 15 or fewer meal plan or no meal plan.
Those who utilize the pantry will fill out an intake form, swipe their Rambler card to make sure they are an active student, and then get one grocery bag to fill up. The pantry has a variety of boxed and canned foods, as well as some perishable and frozen food. It will also offer personal hygiene products.
