SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society will host its fourth annual Poetry Festival on Saturday, March 7, from 5-7 p.m. in the Student Center Cumberland Room. Current students, faculty, staff, local high school students, and community members are invited to attend. The event is free and refreshments will be served.
“This is the perfect opportunity to share your creativity with other people who love poetry,” said Dr. Heidi Hanrahan, professor of English and chapter sponsor. “Attendees can read their favorite poems, their own work, or just listen.”
