SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The 2020 Scarborough Society Gala was canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, the leadership of the Society still wanted to celebrate the generosity of the corporate partners, Society members, and past gala attendees who gave donations in lieu of a ticket purchase. Thanks to this generosity, the Society has once again raised significant funding to support the library and its partner institution, the Shepherdstown Film Society, through the 2021 academic year.
