GET VACCINATED + BOOSTED

COVID-19 vaccines and boosters are the most effective, preventative measure against severe disease and death from COVID-19 and known variants.

Am I up to date? The CDC states that you are up to date with your COVID-19 vaccines when you have received all doses in the primary series and all boosters recommended for you, when eligible.

WEAR A MASKā€”It’s Your Decision

Even though masking is optional at Shepherd University effective March 1, 2022, masking is still an effective way to prevent the transmission of any airborne virus, like COVID-19. If you choose to wear a mask, make sure to wear it properly: fully covering your nose and mouth.

FOLLOW CDC GUIDELINES TO PROTECT YOURSELF AND OTHERS

The CDC website is packed with useful information about how to protect yourself and others from severe illness from COVID and what to do if you have or suspect that you have been exposed to the virus. Since CDC best practices may change due to the ever-changing nature of the virus, bookmark this page for future reference.

Questions about isolation or quarantine protocol? Use the CDC COVID Quarantine and Isolation Calculator or call the Shepherd University Health Center at 304-876-5161.

SUBMIT AN INCIDENT REPORT

If you have tested positive for COVID or have been in contact with someone who is confirmed positive, please submit a COVID-19 incident report to the Shepherd University Health Center. The University’s incident report helps us keep track of the COVID risk on campus and allows us to make decisions to keep our campus community safe and healthy.
