SHEPHERDSTOWN, WVShepherd University’s Scarborough Library will host a one-women photography exhibit of graduate student Jodi Davis in the library’s Reading Room on April 2 at 6 p.m.

Davis finished her degree in Appalachian studies at Shepherd while working as an employee for a Virginia Land Trust.

The exhibit is the culmination of Davis’s Appalachian studies master’s thesis project, The Faces of Appalachia and Regional Identity, A Photographic Journey.

Her photographic project resulted from a long-term interest in the Appalachian region and photography.

The exhibit, curated by photographic artist Mike Mendez, will be open to the campus community and the public in the Scarborough Library.

The University and the public are invited to the April 2 program and reception following the exhibit opening.
