The Shepherd University Center for Regional Innovation aspires to facilitate meaningful interactions among entrepreneurs, business men and women, artists, teachers, scientists, and Shepherd University students, faculty and staff to innovatively stimulate and help propel the region’s economy. We will support regional businesses through targeted research and the proactive use of analytical tools and processes. Using diverse academic disciplines infused with creativity, we will work to enhance the quality of life and the physical environment by addressing the wide variety of problems facing the region. We will create a supportive physical environment for entrepreneurs, researchers and innovators to create and sustain new ventures, commercialize technological and scientific innovations, and secure access to capital from private and public sources to move from concept to reality.
