Work Order Information & Standards
Prioritization of Work Orders
Work orders are processed as they are received. However, student impact Work Orders are prioritized over those of Staff or Faculty. We will get to your work order ASAP, but student impact may push those work orders down the queue. If you need to escalate or check on the progress of a Work Order please contact the appropriate person as outlined below or submit a Contact Form.
- Zach Pollard: Building Maintenance, Building Repairs, Campus Mail
- Heather Barnes: Sanitation, Grounds, Moving & Object Delivery, Building Access

- If you are submitting a work order on behalf of someone else please put their contact information in the work order so they can be contacted if additional information is needed.
- In an emergency situation where escalation is needed you may call us before the work order is submitted, but please make sure that you follow through with a Work Order.
Requests for Moves
All requests for the moving of objects need to be put into the Work Order system.
Special Notes about Moving:
- We do not pack boxes so please have the boxes packed before move.
- We are not permitted to move electronics. Please submit to the IT department.
- We do not move personal items. Personal items will be the individual’s responsibility.
- Filling cabinets must be emptied before move.
- Please be as specific as possible when submitting a moving request. Specify the location of where you want those items to be placed in your WO request. Feel free to use the upload feature to add a map of the room.
Moves are done as we schedule to complete them. You can request for deadlines in your work order and we will TRY to make sure the move is done in that time frame. We will give you a 24hr. notice of when the move will take place. If your move depends on someone else also moving please note that in your work order. They may be done at different times depending on the specifics and schedules of those being moved. If a full office move is being requested Facilities cannot operate as the middle man between departments so details need to be worked out between departments and Building Managers.
