Zoom will be enforcing minimum versions on February 1, 2025.
Starting February 1, 2025, users who are running end-of-life versions:
- 6.0.4 (Windows)
- 6.0.2 (macOS, Android, iOS)
- Any version older than these two above
of the Zoom Workplace app will either be logged out of their Zoom Client or will be unable to join meetings via the Zoom Client. In order to be able to use the Zoom client to attend meetings, you will need to update this app.
To update the Zoom app:
- Open the Zoom app and sign in.
- Click your profile picture in the top right corner, and select “Check for Updates”.
- If an update is available, click to download and install it.
To enable automatic updates to keep your Zoom app up-to-date, do the following:
- Once signed into Zoom, click your profile picture in the top right corner and select “Settings”.
- Select “General” in the list on the left side.
- Scroll down to “Zoom Workplace updates”.
- Check “Automatically keep Zoom Workplace app up to date”.
- Close “Settings” window.
For users who sign into Zoom via a browser, periodically check your browser is up-to-date.
