The Ram Band is one of the highlights of Shepherd University. Known for its strong commitment to musical excellence and its exciting shows, the Ram Band is in great demand throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The Ram Band is not limited to music majors and is open to all Shepherd University students.
Please join us for the RAM BAND Informational Meeting on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 4:30-5pm in McCoy Rehearsal Hall at the Frank Center. Everyone interested in being involved with RAM BAND 2025 should plan to attend this meeting. We will talk about schedules, student leadership, drum line, color guard, field commander tryouts, and show ideas. For more information about the RAM Band, contact director Dr. Hippensteel at shippens@shepherd.edu. Under Shepherd University Director of Bands Dr. Scott Hippensteel, the RAM Band staff includes: music arranger and drill writer Dan Kalantarian, color guard instructor Anna Lynch, percussion arranger and instructor Daniel Morris, and visual and marching instructor John Karos.
