The Master of Education in Educational Leadership is a master’s program taught fully online with 30 required total hours and two concentrations for education professionals who fit into these categories:
- Students who are looking for a graduate degree to work in higher education administrative settings at two- and four-year institutions.

Students who are currently PK-12 teachers and are seeking departmental leadership focused on curricular pedagogy.
Admissions Requirements: Completion of an online Graduate application, earned a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 2.75 or higher, and provide official undergraduate transcripts and graduate (if applicable), a statement of professional goals associated with selected concentration (letter of intent), and three reference letters who can attest to the student’s ability to complete a graduate program and/or character as a professional educator.
Upload admission documents to the application portal and have official college transcripts sent directly from the institutions via e-script (graduate-studies@shepherd.edu) or mail.
