SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Department of Contemporary Art and Theater is hosting the annual Art Market on December 6, from 3-7 p.m., in the Center for Contemporary Arts II. This event is free and open to the public. Cash sales are preferred, though some artists will be able to accept checks or credit transactions.
“Students, faculty, and alumni will be selling art at affordable prices, including unique paintings, drawings, prints, mixed media works, photography, sculpture, handmade jewelry, illustrations, note cards, and stickers,” said Sonya Evanisko, professor of art. “By purchasing art at the Art Market, you are supporting local, creative makers that thrive on producing one-of-a-kind, handmade work.
