SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s 2024 School of Music Annual Musical Showcase for Scholarships will take place on Saturday, April 6, at 7 p.m. in the Frank Arts Center Theater, 260 University Dr., Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
The evening’s program will feature over a dozen School of Music alumni representing careers in voice, instrumental performance, acting, teaching, and broadcast editing. A meet-the-artists dessert reception will follow the performance. General admission tickets are $25 and can be purchased in advance online.
This year’s Musical Showcase, co-chaired by Marcia Brand and Susan Mills, with Dr. Mary J. C. Hendrix, Shepherd president, once again serving as honorary chair of the event.
The goal for 2024 is to raise at least $35,000 in much-needed scholarship money . Over the last seven years, this event has brought in more than $245,000 for student recruitment and retention.
