SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — A new vice president for finance has joined the administration at Shepherd University. Anna Barker comes to Shepherd from Hagerstown Community College where she spent 25 years as director of accounting services and vice president for administration and finance.
Barker has a master of business administration from Frostburg State University, and is a 1982 graduate of Shepherd with a bachelor of science in business administration.
“I’m just so glad to be back,” Barker said. “I’ve always enjoyed higher education and believe in education.”
Prior to working in higher education, Barker worked in the private sector and served as finance officer for the City of Martinsburg.
