SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The third annual Red Hoop Pow Wow at Shepherd University, featuring music, dancing, and food, will take place on Saturday, October 28, from noon-6 p.m. in the Student Center.
The Pow Wow, which is sponsored by the Performing Arts Series at Shepherd and the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, will give the public an opportunity to experience authentic intertribal Native American culture featuring an array of dancers in colorful regalia who will affirm their unbroken link with the customs of their ancestors.
Admission will be $5 for adults, $3 for children, and free to Shepherd students with a valid Rambler ID.
