SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The Black Rock Center for the Arts in Germantown, Maryland, is hosting a solo exhibit of sculptures by Shepherd University professor Christian Benefiel. The exhibit, “Structural Tissue,” will be on display in the Kay Gallery through October 22.
The center’s website says for this exhibit Benefiel, assistant professor of art, has designed a series of new works in response to the exhibition space in The Kay Gallery at BlackRock, with its high ceiling and natural light.
The Black Rock Center for the Arts is located at 12901 Town Commons Dr. in Germantown. Building hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The center will be closed on Columbus Day. For more information, call 301-528-2260 or email info@blackrockcenter.org.
