“The courses I took at Shepherd were instrumental in shaping my worldview in a holistic way by challenging preconceptions while encouraging diversity of thought. The foundations of my career were built in White Hall, as the professors in the political science program provided a challenging and rewarding environment by encouraging classroom debate and critical thinking. The lessons learned outside the classroom were equally valuable, as I learned how to be an advocate through my participation on the debate team. I truly believe I would not be in the position I am today without the opportunities available in the small class-size environment Shepherd offers.”
