Seeding Your Future Conference 2024

IT iS tHE 11th ANNUAL SYFC!
The SYFC is an all-day event focused on increasing interest in STEAM in students in grades 5-8. Through hands-on activities and positive interactions with experts in STEAM fields and undergraduate volunteers from Shepherd University, participants learn about potential career paths and build confidence in their academic abilities and interests.
HOW SYFC WORKS: Each participant attends four workshops, which are clustered into “activity groups.” Participants rank their top three activity type choices on the registration form. Every effort will be made to place participants in one of their top activity choices, but this cannot be guaranteed. The participants will find out their activity group when they receive their conference materials. All groups are unique and aim to “seed your future.”
