SYF Workshop Series
Our goal is to increase students’ interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) areas. We have planned a fantastic series of hands-on workshops given by male and female STEM professionals and Shepherd University student groups, with take-home goodies as souvenirs!
The workshop series is held monthly throughout the academic year for all middle school and high school students.
Fall 2024 -Spring 2025 SYF Workshop Series
All workshops run from 9:00 – 10:30 AM and will be on campus or at Tabler Farm.
- Workshop #1: Environmental Science on Saturday, September 21 at Tabler Farm (registration closed)
- Workshop #2: Science at the Farm! on Saturday, October 12 at Tabler Farm (registration closed)
- Workshop #3: Understanding Fall Colors on Saturday, November 16 (registration closed)
- Workshop #4: The Intersection of Physics and Psychology on Saturday, January 18
- Workshop #5: The Intersection of Art and Psychology on Saturday, February 15
- Workshop #6: Forensics on Saturday, March 22
- Workshop #7: Painting with Light on Saturday, April 19
