Alpha Phi Sigma
Shepherd University Pi Zeta Kappa Chapter
Alpha Phi Sigma recognizes the academic excellence of undergraduate and graduate Criminal Justice students and Juris Doctor students. The goals of Alpha Phi Sigma are to honor and promote academic excellence, community service, educational leadership, and unity.
Alpha Phi Sigma is the only Criminal Justice Honor Society certified by the Association of College Honor Societies and is affiliated with the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. It was founded in 1942.
Shepherd University’s Pi Zeta Kappa Chapter has 33 members. Membership is determined by Superior Academic Achievement based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average, or (3) honor society membership.
