Degree Program (B.S. in Environmental Studies w/ Concentration)
Sustainable Agriculture and Resource Management
The Sustainable Agriculture and Resource Management Concentration provides students with a fundamental knowledge in environmental science and emphasizes concepts associated with sustainable agriculture and resource management, including soils, water, and wildlife and pest management. Upon completion, students will be able to investigate and implement policies relating to the environment and natural resource conservation or launch a successful sustainable agriculture production enterprise or for employment in the organic and sustainable food industry. This concentration prepares students to work in state and national parks and other governmental agencies, undertake environmental advocacy, conduct/implement research in related fields for graduate study or as a laboratory technician, and develop agricultural and resource management programs.

Agricultural Entrepreneurship
The Agricultural Entrepreneurship Certificate is a non-degree, 21-hour program providing foundational knowledge in business and agricultural science and hands-on experience in agricultural production techniques. The Certificate prepares students to launch a successful agricultural enterprise.

The Sustainable Food Production Certificate is a non-degree, 21-hour program that couples foundational knowledge in sustainable agriculture and marketing with critical hands-on experience in food production techniques that are environmentally, socially and economically viable. The Certificate prepares students with the theory, practice and real-life experience needed to manage or launch a successful sustainable agriculture production enterprise.
