Student Rights and Responsibilities
- To seek medical attention for sexual or intimate partner violence, both to promote my well-being and to preserve evidence.
- To notify law enforcement of my complaint and the University will assist me in contacting the appropriate law enforcement agency.
- To file a complaint with the University and have the complaint investigated and resolved promptly and equitably through the University grievance process.
- To request that no action be taken. The Title IX Coordinator will evaluate these requests for confidentiality and if my request is granted, the University’s ability to investigate will be limited.
- To request interim measures, remedies, and accommodations
- To be assisted by a friendly advisor or advocate of my choice
- To appeal a decision for good cause
